Neoprene Stubby Holders Launched To Australian Public
A stubbie holder, put simply, is an insulated wrap which goes around a cold beer … to keep it as cold www.grynx.com as possible, for as long as possible.
In Australia a 375ml bottle of beer is called a stubbie so when beer holders were first introduced to the Australian public the name can holder from the USA evolved to be called a stubbie holder down under.
In the 1980 the only promotional stubbie holder available to keep your beer cooler was called a "cooler" and was made out of white styrene foam which was very cumbersome and rigid, as a result it did not print easily and you could not fold it up and put it in your pocket.
It was not popular because of these inherent defects as it did not quite do the job that it was intended for, a stubbie to be effective needs to fit the bottle or can tightly.
In the mid 1980 one company claimed to have brought in the first neoprene cooler from the USA.
