Hurrying For A Brand New Vehicle Price Cut - Do You Really Need To Rush Before It Expires?
When vehicle lots get bitten by the brand-new vehicle discount bug, there is simply no stopping them. They simply keep piling on the urgency about how you have to act today (immediately would be even better) since there is this great discount that will slip through your fingers before you know it. When you visit a vehicle lot, they just pile on the urgency ever more. They understand that if you walk out that door, they will most likely never see you again. Is it ever the case that you just occurred to walk in at exactly the right time and that great brand-new discount will be gone if you miss out on it? Well, as is the case with the majority of these things, The answer is both affirmative and negative.
The thing is, legally speaking, they are right. The deal that they speak of does have an end date. This isn't like going shopping for used cars - with used cars, the dealers have more discretionary room, because they have obtained those used cars directly from prior owners, and they have more room to decide about how to promote them. The only issue with taking that end date seriously is, that there is most likely going to be a better brand-new vehicle discount they offer you, once that one's gone.
With a discount expiring only to be replaced with a brand-new one, why bother to let it expire at all, you ask? For the simple reason that if it was a permanent discount, it would not be a discount at all - it would be the usual price. When they continue bringing in special discounts and having them expire, they put out the illusion of something great happening all of the time, and it's better for business that way.
How about that other concept behind a brand-new vehicle discount that they have - that they have to move all of the old automobiles out to make room for the brand-new year's models? There is no one time in truth, that brand-new models arrive. It varies from one brand to another, but typically, it's after Labor Day that it begins happening - any time between May and June. The thing is, vehicle dealers always push themselves hard to move inventory. They do not have to make room for anything. But on occasion, when there just a few items of an older model left, they are likely to carry much better rates and financing offers.
Why on earth do you think they have to move out of the old stock to make room for the brand-new? It not like tons of the brand-new stuff are going to arrive whether the seller likes it or not. They only arrive unit by unit, day by day when the dealer's ready.
